Superman/Batman Based on "I Am Legend" Clip? (1 Viewer)

There's a moment in I Am Legend where in a desolate Times Square of New York City, there's a billboard proclaiming both Superman and Batman logos, suggesting Warner actually may be planning something with both characters in one film...

Is there any further word on this?

Warner was planning one a year or two ago; when shooting I Am Legend, the producers decided to replace a bunch of billboards with movies Warner had on their development schedule as in-jokes.

and if it does ever happen dont count on nolans take of Batman, but the logo that you saw is actual WB going back to basics, that is from the new superman/batman adventures that ran on kids WB/ other wise know as season 4 of batman TAS, and the related superman seasons as well.

You know, I read somewhere or heard that there was a POSSIBLE exploration of the "Greatest Story Ever Told" tale where Superman would meet Batman in a film -- but never heard anything else on it...

A Superman/Batman film was planned a few years ago, with Wolfgang Petersen attached to direct. However, it fell through, and plans to relaunch the Superman franchise were put back into effect, and the result was eventually Superman Returns.
