Scot, one suggestion, and there will be others, is the Sony STR-DA3ES. The current ES receivers have received good reviews here overall, and in my limited experience with them in stores, they are quite good. The 'DA3ES retails for $800, but you should be able to get it for significantly less through Oade Bros. (1-229-228-0093 or 1-229-228-4480), OneCall (1-800-340-4770), or J&R Music World (1-800-221-8180). All three are authorized dealers. See www.crutchfield.com for more information on the 'DA3ES.

Scot, I haven't used the Marantz SR-5200; I've only seen it at a local store. I am not impressed by the build quality of the current Marantz mid-priced receivers. That doesn't mean they are bad performers, however.
