Sorry if this has already been posted somewhere, just lock or delete this if it has, apparently this was all posted at AVS forum, but I can't find the topic [IMG], in any case I need one of these now [IMG]

    Yeah, it does[IMG]
Anyway, [IMG] [IMG] Leave it to Sony to keep mini disc alive. 23.3GB of recording, must look great. My guess with the movies on there Sony is looking to shorten our DVD library.

That's obviously not the actual remote for the unit--it looks to me like one of the Sony VML learning remotes.

    Impressive!

Note how Sony can make a piece of equipment look so damn sexy (remember the SCD-1?).

Now, if only the studios would relent a bit on their copy-protection paranoia and let Sony make this machine!

I hope it is backwards compatible with current DVDs. Is the official HTF stance still supporting Toshiba's version?

I think this unit is backwards compatible with current DVD, don't quote me on that though.

What a beautiful piece. I wonder how it would sell for in the US. I'm sure a lot. Very nice.
