I'm looking for a decent subwoofer to balance out my HT system. I want to see the matrix the way it was meant to be seen!

Thanks

$200 - $300 will make an awesome "home made" sub that will produce the effects you are looking for. However, when it comes to pre-assembled, you'll need to go up in the range a bit.

Hopefully, someone has something used to fit the bill.

I sold my 15" Dayton DVD box a few months back for $200 + shipping. It was definately a sub that would allow you get all of the effects of the movie that you are looking for.

Look at the Velodyne CH models that are listed in the deals section of the forum (One Call specials.) You can't do much better for a prefinished "starter" subwoofer.
