    Hello

I'm looking for a sub that's under $400 for my HT setup. I currently have 2 Sansui towers in the front, a center channel, and 2 pinnacle satellites. What subwoofer would you guys recommend that'll work w/ my current setup that's within my price range? I'll be using my HT for mostly watching DVDs and playing video games. I rarely listen to music on my system.

    thanks

Spend just a little more.. Do a search of a Velodyne CHT-15.... Amazing sub for the money. $516 is the lowest I have seen on it these days. I have a hard time suggesting any subs lower end than this one is all. I was blowing them right and left before getting the odd ball Velo.

The SVS PB-10 is $429, but with tax and shipping, it could approach $500 (depends on where you live). For the price though, I'd say it's definitely worth it. I'm very happy with mine.

SVS all the way. $475 or so should get you an PB 10 ISD.
    Worth it tostretch imo.

Hsu STF-2 is an excellent subwoofer, and would be $425 delivered.

Take a look at this one. I've never heard it, but I've read a lot about it and it's one of the ones on my short list. Only $399!

The Rava was going to be my second recommendation, if you absolutely have to keep it closer to $400. [IMG] The STF-2 is a great choice also. I previously owned a VTF-2 and it was a great sub, but the PB-10 was able to nudge the VTF-2 (in max extension config) out with noticably deeper extension.
