Has anyone used stand for subwoofer? Does it add punch & clarity to subwoofer?

For $398, you can upgrade to a better sub than have a stand. Any comments?

$400? Get a milk crate, it will do the same thing.

Yes, something like this could actually help if you have specific room modes that benefit from moving your sub a particular distance off the ground, but that distance is going to depend on your sub and your room. I think its ridiculous that someone would pay that much for something like that. I could just about get a second PB-10 for that...
