Ditto for the FC........but you'll never know what's best until you test it in the room, you may be suprised what may work best.

i hear this trick works. haven't tried it though....

    1. put the sub where you would normally sit
    2. get on your knees and start crawling around
    3. where you hear the bass the best, that's where the sub should go.

of course, that could mean the middle of your room. [IMG]

I heard put the sub in your listening position and start crawling around and see how it sounds. Where the bass is the best, is where it should go.

I found mine to sound the best in the front left corner. I use a THX Monster sub cable.

If im dealing with a pretty much square room (17.5x19.5) would itmatter whether its left or right front corner? I assume the standing waves would be the same from either.. Am i wrong in this. Also, with a volume of 3300 cubic feet I have two original 20-39cs subs and a Samson S700 amp. Should these be suffucient for this volume?
