I have the Sony SA-WM40 sub hooked up to my receiver(HK AVR-120) and when I watch Shrek in DTS my sub keeps cutting off since I have it on power save mode. Is there not alot of bass in the movie or what?

I tried it in DD and it sounded better, so I guess I'll just have to stick with that.

'Shrek' has plenty of low end, I think your sub may be like mine in that if it doesn't detect a singal, or a strong enough signal, it will switch off after 17 minuets. Is your low pass cut off up high enough on your sub? If not, your sub may not be recieving all of the available signal coming from your reciever and causing it to cut off, that's what mine used to do before I made adjustments with the 'AVIA' dvd and that took care of it.
