Subwoofer not needed with Klipsch RF-7?

    I read that the Klipsch RF-7 can output some very strong bass and some say that a subwoofer is not needed with these speakers. Is this true?

    No, it's not!
    But then again,it depends what sub we're talking about here,and what extension level is your goal.

    The rf7's do have good bass but only to the mid 30 hz.They were intended for use with the rsw 12/15 sub,either will blow you away with chest pounding true bass.If you do mostly music/ 5.1 concerts you need lotsa power RSW!
