subwoofer help!! (1 Viewer)

hi people this is my first post...i have a Yamaha RX-V520 and polyway PL-8A speakers....can someone please suggest me to a good sub woofer for my home theater....i don't have rear speakers as of now...will buy them later...but im keen on a sub woofer...please suggest me a good model....thanks in advance

Do you have a budget in mind?
How loud do you like to listen (moderate, moderate-loud, loud, very loud)
How large is your room? And are their any large openings in it to other parts of the house?

i have a YAMAHA RX-V520. yeah its like super old :p. (waiting for the new hdmi 2.1 receivers to update).
i think my room size is about 10x13

i only have front tower speakers as of now. some brand called polyway (MADE IN USA Apparently)

the above setup of mine is i think atleast 12 years old i guess.

i was looking at a few sub-woofers. budget about 20-30k
Polk Audio - PSW10
Polk Audio - HTS10
Yamaha NS-SW300

out of budget
Q acoustic qb12

will buy center and rear speakers later

what do you experts suggest among these subs? or apart from these?

my room size is about 12x14 (168 sq feet)
i can accommodate a woofer of 14inch width
