Alright here is my dilemma i have 2 choices to choose from that are about the same price. Choice one is a tc sounds 3hp 15inch sub powered by a bash 300watt amp from parts express. Not sure on box yet but will be ported and probably tuned around 19hz. Or my other choice is 2 infinity ps-12 subwoofers. I have a friend that works at circuit city so 2 infinity ps-12s would cost about the same as the tc sounds sub with amp and cost for materials.

That is the infinity subwoofer im talking about and i can get them for a very low price compared to what circuit city charges from a friend that works there.

    Which would you guys choose.

    Good question -

    A. Instant gratification, dual sub flexibility. Inferior comapred to a true custom DIY.
    B. Long build process, labor, finish. Satisfaction. Killer potential.

    I choose B.

Unless you really don't want to do any work, I don't see the dilemma. The DIY route will give you much better performance.

B is definately better. It may be work, but you get exactly what you want.

Im not worried about the work, i built a tempest seeing 7.8cubic ft tuned to 15.4hz running off a 250 watt amp in another one of my rooms. I know b route was probably the better route but i was seeing if i could get out the easy way and be satisified which i probably wouldnt with a.

Well since we have that issue solved do you guys have any opinions on box sizes and tuning. I want to go ported and i dont really have any size restrictions but dont want to go huge.
