Subwoofer and STR-DA5ES.. which connection? (1 Viewer)

I noticed that there are two RCA type pre-out connections on the back of the receiver. Does it matter which one I connect the sub to? I have a single digital coax cable that will run from the receiver to the woofer. Thanks

Both of the RCA sub-outs are the same (carry the same output signal). You can connect ot either one. If you go with multiple subs it is nice to have that other output availible.

You do not need a digital coaxial cable, just a good quality analog AUDIO interconnect, which a dig. coax is not intended to be used for.
