Subwoofer Amp Question (1 Viewer)

I was looking through the specs on the sub amps on both the Adire and Parts Express sites. I want to go with 250 watt amps. They both have a similar model but the Parts Express is over $40.00 cheaper. They have similar specs except the Adire has 180w at 8 ohms and the PE has 150w at 8 ohms. Is there a noticable differance between the two? Is it worth the extra money for the Adire AVA250?

the parts express amp has a 30 hz boost built into it, the instructions that come with it tell you how to eliminate it but it involves removing and replaceing 2 resistors

You can order the PE amp with the boost removed. I did just that last week. It should be arriving today!

As far as the power into 8 ohms, the difference between 150 watts and 180 watts would be inaudible.
