Since my recent post regarding EYES WITHOUT A FACE yielded news of its probable upcoming DVD release, I thought I'd try my luck with another such post...

Any updates on 3 WOMEN or BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS? The "exciting news" promised us by Fox last December still hasn't been announced. Does anyone know if they are still scheduled for release, or if they've been postponed? These two films are at the top of my wish list, so any information would be appreciated.

Cynthia Myers has been mentioning the upcoming Criterion release of BtVotD at her website...that site and Criterion's site are probably the best places to keep an eye out for release info.

Claude - it's happened again! [IMG]

As reported on the Criterion boards, Robert Altman recently announced at a Q&A session that he had recently recorded an audio commentary for 3 WOMEN.

Although it's as-yet unconfirmed, I'd say Criterion would be your best bet for these two (the fact they're releasing another Fox property - NAKED LUNCH - in November would seem to add legitimacy to the rumours).

    Wow! Another success!

Glad to know that Robert Altman recorded a commentary track for 3 WOMEN. I like that he gets involved with the DVD releases of his films, rather than just focusing on his current project.

By the way, where are the "Criterion boards?" Are they on this forum, the Criterion page, or elsewhere?

    Thanks!

Yeah... I'd like to know that too.
