My suggestion for now, if you play some music rather than feeling it to cause noise, you might like it better
But if you mean what I think you mean, get an SPL meter and a test tone disk. Take some sweep measurement with various room locations and phase settings. Once you get the position with the flatest response go buy a Behringer Feedback Destroyer. Then do some more sweeps and get the BFD (which is a parametric EQ) setup to bring down any of the room induced peaks your playing with placement couldn't.
