Hi,
My friend is in the process of building his first respectable (he's had enough of his aiwa shelf system) and is looking for suggestions for a sub.
He already has the receiver and speakers
HK AVR 130
Ascend CBM 170s
He likes the look of the JBL S120Pii but has heard conflicting reviews on its performance. Just looking for the best Sub in the $300-$450 range.
Plans on using it for 70% Music (Rock/alternative DMB U2 etc a little classical too) 30% Home Theater
Looking for something not too tight or boomy, but closer to the tight end of spectrum than boomy.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
