I have decided to go with the Axiom surrounds. Shoud I use the Axiom EP350 or should I go with a SVS sub? My room is 20x20 with a conthedial ceiling. Has anyone heard both and have an opion? I like bass but not too heavy. Do you thing I have made the right choise with the Axiom?

Keep in mind that I haven't heard the axiom, but I think you should go with the SVS. By most accounts the SVS will have an extremely flat smooth response which is great for someone like yourself who doesn't want to *hear* lots and lots of bloated bass. The specs on the SVS's are a little better . . . better frequency response (if you get the 20Hz model or if you get the 25-31 tuned to 22Hz), a more powerful amp, and probably a better driver (I've never liked aluminum woofers, but that's just my opinion). Which SVS were you looking at in particular, so people can give more detailed opinions?

I am looking at the PB1-ISD 12" SVS.
