Greetings,
I'm looking to purchase a new subwoofer and have been trying to research as much as I can on what to buy. I started at avsforum.com and then found this site. After reading and searching through both I have narrowed my list down. I know there are a ton of threads like this but my questions are slightly different.
I currently have an 8" Onkyo subwoofer that I plan on using with whatever new sub I get to help fill my room. The new one's I am considering after reading are:
JBL E250P
Velodyne CHT-12
HSU STF-2 (But didn't want to spend this much)
Dayton 10"
What would I be missing out of my sub if I went with the Dayton over the others listed? Or, would I gain much more out of a sub by getting one over the others?
Keep in mind that I plan on keeping the Onkyo and using it with the new sub.
EDIT: The room is around 500 sq ft.
Thanks for any input,
Shane
