I've narrowed down my sub searching to the VTF2 and the Dharman. I'm mostly HT and have Axiom M22s and VP 150. I'm currently leaning toward the Dharman.

Adire's website says $599 and the VTF2 can be had for $499 at AV123. Figure both will cost about $50 to ship. Any tips or trick on getting either of these a bit cheaper, i.e. through linking through a site with a discount? I've read so much and some folks claim to have gotten free shipping? I've seen posts with claims of the VTF-2 for $449 delivered. That's $200 less then the best deal I can find on the Dharman.

    Thanks

Adire has a 5% discount if you follow the HTT link to their site, but as far as I can tell it only applies to raw drivers.

The Dharman will outperform a VTF2 and look better though. Whether it's performance increase would be worth $200 to you though, I don't know.

There's also the TN25/250w amp combo from Hsu. Around $600? Should be a very good combo...slight better than the vtf-2 for sure.
