Any suggestions on the best place to position the subwoofer? I've read near a wall, which is where I have mine, but was just wondering if anyone has had better performance anywhere else in a room. My room is fairly small, so it probably wouldn't matter too much, but any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you could post the dimensions of your room and subwoofer model, it would help. Ideally a basic diagram of same could help us narrow down possibilities.

Try corner, with an equal ~5-10 inches from wall. I tried this and got a good bass amplification so I didn't have to max the gain on the amp. I also achieved a decent response as well going from 20-100hz +/- 6db. It's plenty suitable for HT and now I have the volume half way instead of maxed.

OH, before the tempest was in the corner, it was about 2 feet to the left of the listening position. "Ouch"

My room is small = 10' by 10'. The placement impact was IMMENSE.
