should i connect my sub using line level output or speaker level out put? thanks for any input

well, if you have a dolby receiver with a crossover inside, you should use the sub line level out. The speaker line connections are really intended for older systems without internal bass management. The hook up and configurations are far more elegant with the sub line level instead of the speaker in-line method.

Use line level and let the receiver handle everything. That way the bass from all speakers goes to the sub.
