Hi out there. My question is regarding my subwoofer set up for my Energy 5.2 system. I run it with a Denon 2800 receiver, and am wondering about the in line vs the speaker line setup. I have read reviews of this sysyem and they seem split on how they set it up. I will be using their 8' sub by the way.

Line out has always hands down been the best for me....

In HT, this provides for true LFE (or the .1 in 5.1/6.1/7.1) otherwise your just not really getting it.

I was wondering because my Denon has no crossover control ( I think ). My Energy sub has a crossover input that bypasses the subs controls, and an input that uses them. Which in my case would be best? Any idea?

Don't use the xover in the sub, 80hz is probably fine for xover, and most likely where the receiver is fixed at.
