Currently building a sub for home theater. Going with Digital designs sub because I already have some and they are some nasty beasts. I picked up a non-working paradigm Seismic 12 amp. It is currently being repaired by paradigm, hope to have it back soon. Does anyone know if this amp runs a 4ohm, 2ohm, 1ohm load? Next question, anyone here that can take a picture of how thing is wired? The speaker outputs are labled on the board but all the other prongs are just labled as + and - . Don't want to take a chance in getting it wrong.

Most plate amps can drive 4 ohm loads. But there are a few that I've seen that work with unusual loads like 32 ohms. The only way to be sure is to ask the manufacturer.

Some DD subs are good while some are made for the fart and burp noises in SPL contests. Most I've seen don't have the appropriate Theile/Small parameters for a good home theater sub though.
