Ok guys, you're the experts, i'm not. Here's what i have:

From car audio: Kicker Solobaric S12d 4ohm SVC. (this is the older round model)

S12D-4
Fs 18.13hz
Qes 0.33
Qms 7.10
Qts 0.32
Vas 206L
Sd 530cm^2
Re 3.51
Xmax 10.3mm
Xsus 14.2mm
SPL@1 watt: 87.5dB

those are actual DUMAX specs.

I have a 250w @ 4ohm Plate amp from MCM. Box size would be be preferably smaller than larger.

It will be in a living room with hardwood floors, and plenty of windows. Plush couch and chairs will be the only absorbant mass in the room.

For listening preference- whatever is well rounded- it will play for movies, but mainly for music- and probably more on the softer end- no metal or rap.

It will be teamed with a pair of mid-grade B&W's

What do you guys think for an enclosure.

Thanks for any help!

2.5-3cf sealed (with 2lbs loose stuffing) looks pretty darn good for that sub. Should be pretty close to what you are looking for. If possible, I would try to get the enclosure as close to 3cf or larger as possible. This should get you very nice extension and a pretty low final q (good for your "soft" music). I wouldn't go much smaller than 2.5cf with heavy stuffing.
