Sub amp is in the shop. Did I miss anything? (1 Viewer)

I have a passive sub and my amp is in the shop being repaired. I have been watching mostly "chick flicks" and kids stuff knowing they wouldn't have much LFE. A friend of mine asked me if I wanted to borrow "The Day After Tommorrow" I said yes thinking maybe I wouldn't be missing too much if I went ahead and saw it. I don't know if there was very much LFE in the movie but watching a movie like that without a sub stinks!!!! So..... what did I miss? Was there much LFE in that movie? Do I need to watch it again after I get my sub amp back?

That movie has a fairly impressive sound track. Not much else going for it IMO. Actually some of the coolest soundtracks these days are kid's movies. Think of Finding Nemo or Monsters Inc. Even some of the techno cartoons that I see on my satelite have really good sound.
