I have a Sony ES30 Receiver and I lost the manual. I need to change some speaker settings and a few other things but I can't do it on the receiver or remote, so I'm assuming I have to do it from the OnScreen Display Menu.

My stupid question is how do i connect the receiver to my TV in order to access this menu.

I tried a few different things but nothing works.

    Please Help!!!

    BTW: I have a Mits ws55857

i thought you were able to go into the menu on the lcd panel of the reciever? i could be wrong. but if you want the osd (on screen display) you would hook up a composite cable to the monitor out of your reciever and connect it to video 1 in on your tv.

You will also need to switch to the input that you hooked the vid connection to, and switch to amplifier controls on the remote. There may also be a setting for OSD on or off, which my receiver has, so one does not accidentally change settings while in the AMP mode on the remote.
