I've just ordered a pair of Studio 40's, intend to add CC 470, surrounds and Sub shortly but for right now I'll be playing Stereo only.
Room is 17' by 22',both of the 22' walls are virtually glass, (one side has two 8'glass door sections and the other has a 12' glass door section.)
I've read some things on Dipole speakers and hope I could achieve reasonable results from mounting Studio ADP's on the ceiling rather than on the wall. Note that I do not expect optimum performance and I am far from experienced but logically speakers located in this manner and in line with intended listening/viewing position should be able to sound reasonable, no?
My alternative is to mount a smaller Dipole hard to the ceiling above the doors, using rears instead is problematic also so it's out.
