Hmm, I noticed that the new Av-12 MK-II is out and with a new spider for better linearity.
I also noticed the recommended enclosure changed in size. Does that mean the new driver will not work very good in the recommended enclosures for the old AV-12? say the EBS alignment (5 cu-ft)?
Finally, is the PE amp 300-794 powerful enough to power the AV-12 in the EBS alignment?

    Thanks

    Sebastian,

The response stays just about the same in all the enclosures. The only one that really changes is the EBS alignment. The Vas is much lower now so the enclosure size required for the EBS is nowhere near as large.

If you happen to already have a 5cf EBS alignment, likely you won't hear much audible difference except for a little more output around tuning with the new MKII.

Cool, What about the amp? 250W enough?

John, I sent you an E-mail with specific questions.
    Thanks.
