Stripped Screws? (1 Viewer)

Anybody got a good solution? I'm trying to get the damn screws off of my license plate because I need to replace the license plate.

On an unrelated note, Kentucky has the worst license plates.

Have you checked the tool isle at Sears (Simpson-Sears down there I would guess)? They used to advertise a stripped screw bit that would fit a standard 1/2 or 3/8 drill chuck.

Yeah drill the f*cker out, or if you can get to the back of it, pound it out with a hammer

Make a new slot in it? If you can't get at it with a hacksaw blade, maybe you could cut a slot in it with a dremel.

if you cant get any of those to work, perhaps a you could get a hold of a silica packet?

Well, the damn thing that's holding the screw in place is now starting to twist. I'm just going to have to get some cutters and cut out my license plate.
