I just got a 5.1 sound system but I can't find any way to get movies in 5.1 apart from DVD. I only have a pc. Is there any way to stream movies in 5.1 or even download them?

I'm not aware of any legal downloads, but you can stream stuff in 5.1 with services like NetFlix and Amazon Prime, using devices like Roku and Apple TV, as well as most Blu-Ray players. Different players and devices offer different services, so you need to research them. Those services only include selected movies and TV shows. You can also buy and rent movies to stream with Amazon, iTunes and a bunch of other services. Several of them let you use an app on your computer instead of a streaming device, assuming your computer is capable of 5.1.

    • Do you have Netflix? The Netflix app for Win 10 and Win 8 is supposed to support 5.1 surround
