Streaks on new screen, Help! (1 Viewer)

8 mo. ago I bought a Pioneer pdp 5040HD thinking we would be moving shortly I am now perminatly setting everything up. The screen has suttle color streaking, in the on or off mode. It has never been cleaned with a detergent. The dealer is miles away, is this normal? If not how can it be corrected? Thanks in advance.

You tested it when you first got it and it was fine and now find this? Or is this the first time you have viewed content on it?

Sounds strange for plasma, hard to envision what exactly the anommally is though from the description.

I tested it breifly when I bought it, they show more pronounced in good light. I believe they were there and I thought I would address the issue when I did the final set up.

I guess I'd start taking it up with the manufacturer at this point....
