Strange Question ????, but (1 Viewer)

I know this must sound strange to alot of you out there,
to compare a high end HK receiver to a lower priced Yamaha
but here goes.

How would you compare lets say the HK AVR 630 to say the higher end of the Yamaha HTR 5760 or 5790

I own an HTR-5790 and one of the receivers on the short list when I bought it was also the AVR630. I ended up buying the Yamaha. Not because the 630 was bad, but because I couldn't tell the H/K delivered any increase in performance for the increase in price. Plus, the 5790 had YPAO and DPLIIx and didn't suffer from any audio dropout issues. YMMV.
