Strange problem with Firefox and HTF (1 Viewer)

So I tried setting up a bunch of HTF bookmarks (one for each forum that I read) in a folder in Firefox, so that I can open all of these windows at once (albeit only in a fresh FF instance). The strange part is, after the second window, it marks all threads as read, which does not happen if I view them individually. I'm still logged in to the forum, so it's not losing my cookie. No idea what's happening here-any ideas?

I don't know what is causing the problem, but I something you can try. What I do is go to the forum list, then from there open each forum (that I want to read) in a new tab by middle-clicking on it.
