Strange days R2 (1 Viewer)

Hi
Who has got Strange Days R2 ? Is the picture so much better ?
I am waiting for my copy, I bought the Danish version so I am hoping that it isn't cut!
I have the current R1 but got annoyed at the Letterbox picture and the R2 Danish is only 14 Dollars.
Anybody has this??

I don't suppose it has a DTS track does it?

No dts Im afraid!
Will have to wait for that if a new R1 SE comes out, I guess..
The current 5.1 sound is really good though!

Okay got the disc;
The menu is without music, the teaser trailer is gone and it is slightly cut.
The cut is not bad though, it happends in the final scene when Juliet is being strangled, here you don't see her being strangled...

I can live with this, the only thing is it doesn't make it it so hard to watch as before...
The anamorphic transfer looks to be the same as the R1, except fot the higher resolution! The reds are more red, detail is greater and the picture is a little sharper.
There is a new featurette ( 7 min ) but I would rather have the cool teaser,,so I am keeping the R1. The menu is also nicer on the R1.

I ordered it from a danish webstore called dvdoo.dk
But i am pretty sure Cd-WOW.com has it and they ship for free all over the world.

You should try to get your hands on the DTS LD if you can. Amazing sound.

I thought it was cut during therape and strangulation murder scene
too.
