STR-DA1ES display (1 Viewer)

Does the STR-DA1ES have a dot matrix display like the upper ES models or does it use line characters like the STR-DE series?
The STR-DB780 is the non-Nth American equivalent and it has the line character display.
I checked the pics on the Crutchfield site but they don't gel - the panels are different when you look at the front view vs the closeup of the panel.

I have viewed the STR-DA1ES in the showroom at a Sony Store here (in Canada). I can say that it definitely does not have a full dot-martix display. It has the 'line' characters, like the cheaper of the DE models have.
