For those who follow such things, the consumer electronics industry is in the midst of two key tradeshows in Europe, Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) last week in Barcelona, and High End Munich kicking off this week. I had some meetings arranged in Barcelona during ISE, so got a chance to wander the somewhat limited Home Cinema floor for a couple of hours. However, the wider show is concerned with smart AV tech for homes, workspaces and specific industry verticals.
Among the many announcements timed to coincide with either/both shows was StormAudio’s introduction of the ISP Elite MK3 processor. Sporting a new color display and modern design, the French company says the MK3 can decode up to 24 channels of audio and is fully compatible with DCI and Dolby ecosystems, as well as multiple DSP and amplifier platforms.
