In your opinion, what is the best subwoofer for less than 400 dollars(US)? I just need a lot of suggestions please.

If you can make the stretch, I think there are places that sell the Hsu VTF-2 for $425.

Here are some suggestions to research. The price is street, not including tax and / or shipping. All are available from internet retailers, some at your local hi-fi or big box electronic shop. For primarily music, I would look most closely at the Adire, Aperion, Axiom, PSB, and Sound Dynamics.

For primarily HT, the others would be good choices too.

Let us know what you decide, as I am in the market and same price range.
