I read a really interesting article in my local paper the other day about actor Steven Seagal having a run-in with the Mafia while filming "Exit Wounds" in Toronto in August 2000.

The article says that "the actor was in Canada when four alleged mobsters visited him to make demands." "Investigators have said Seagal was so shaken that he paid $700,000 to the mob..."

Pretty amazing stuff. I didn't think the mob still really did stuff like that. I guess life is a little different than the movies in that Steven didn't just go and break their necks!

Was this local paper called 'The National Enquirer' or 'the World Weekly News"?
