I am looking for a stereo amp to power my Paradigm Studio 80's. There seems to be so many, and only certain dealers carry certain models (and prices are very hard to find on line). I'm trying to get a list together of "worthy" amps that I can go listen to. This amp will be use for 80% movies / 20% music. I will be connecting to a Yamaha 1200.
Any ideas about amps that would be in my price range? Ideally I would like it to have 12V turn on and be rack mountable (though the rack bit isn't a no-deal). I would consider 5 channel amps also, and would be willing to pay more money for one of those.
Anyway, once I get a list together I will go to all the dealers that carry them and give them a listen. Thanks for your help.
