His speech synthesis is a little creepy.
Here is a fun site where you can demo a synthesizer. The voices sound very natural.
I've replaced all of my windows sounds with the female voice saying all kinds of suggestive things.

    Dave,

I just tried it and it was FUN. Now, I'm trying to think of all the ways I can use it.

    Thanks

Sounds very natural for a web-based interface. But you really should hear the stuff used at Nuance and Speechworks - unbelievable.
Here's one that allows for muliple languages. The advanced interface demo also lets you adjust several parameters. (Scroll down to Demos)

And Richard, this link has a disclaimer to make sure you're old enough to hear the output. [IMG]

I had already found this, and sent a wav file to a lawyer friend of mine. Needless to say, he was quite embarrassed when that female voice came over his speakers on his computer, saying things about him no computerized woman should know!

    Cool!

So how can you save these wav files and attach them to e-mails?
