The prices I see are $8.95, $10.95, $12.95. I suppose this means I've missed the deal. Darn.

Is the shipping a flat fee of $6.50 unless you get to the $100 order plateau?

{If anyone cares for the condition of my carpeting, I was able to collect myself, and calmly put the soldering iron into its holder so that it would not burn up my carpet.)

I think you are correct Patrick. I ordered 4 36" and 2 24" and the shipping was a flat 6.50. Not bad I say. I probably should have gotten more. Use them for xmas gifts or something.

    jeez,
sorry patrick, i shouldnt have snuck up like that. i really hope Pooh is ok though. i will pay half of any vet bills. :b

its $6.50 minimum shipping then free for $100.
heres a snippet from their email confirmation...
"The totals (including shipping charges) reflected in this response will be reviewed by our customer service
    department prior to processing.
If there are any errors or inconsistencies on your order (other than application of our 6.50 minimum shipping charge,)
we will contact you via phone and/or email."

but from what jeff said, it is flat..either way, a hellava deal. and you guys were sposed to wait a day or two, remember?

    Nice post,
But are the ones you specifically list really on "sale", or is that their normal price?

BTW It doesn't really matter that much to me I placed an order, its such a good deal regardless.

Thanks, I'm gonna have to ask my friends if they want any. Clamps come in handy when building furniture. [IMG]

Hahaha, Chris I just did the same thing and ordered 4 24" clamps and 4 36" clamps for a friend of mine for under $42.50! That's, what, $5.31 per clamp? Sheesh!

    a quick update,
the link in my original post seems to not be working anymore, hmmm i wonder why that is. [IMG] so....
go here and click on SPECIALS, then choose EMAIL SPECIALS, then choose the CLAMP BAKE.
dan, are you sure you didnt get a 24"er at HD. i bought 2 24" Pony bar clamps recently there for $11 and change each.
ted, this looks to be and introductory sale. i only learned about it because i got an email from them last night. funny, it says its a memorial day sale though, they are a bit late i guess. anyway the price is good and they confirmed it.
    martice, follow the directions above.
patrick, thank god, i thought i was gonna have to cancel my order to pay the vet. glad cat and carpet are ok.
btw, i dont work for those folks, just giving fellow DIY'ers a heads-up.

    Jeff,

Yeah, I'm sure about the price and size at the Depot. In fact I was just in there today and saw virtually the same thing (an 18"er) for $12. I can't explain the price difference. But now I won't need to worry about it!

I feel sort of bad. Today I returned two 24" clamps to Lowes that I bought 3 weeks ago, and four 24" clamps to Sears that I bought 10 days ago (the Sears clamps were crappy in that their inside head surfaces weren't level, and made the wood pieces slide sideways on me). For the $80 I spent on 6 clamps via retail, I saved myself $10, and got 10 more clamps (16 total) in the bargain at the Penn State site.

Well I just placed my order for 6 clamps[IMG]
Awesome price! I just hope the 6.50 shipping applies to Alaska as well.
Heck even at double the shipping price its a great deal.
