It wouldn't have matterred how well reviewed this set was, I'm buying this set regardless. I absolutely love Stargate SG-1, and it's all because of the first release, or I'd never have tried it. I've been converting people to Stargate fanhood left and right after my own addiction began.

I'm glad to hear it's an improvement over season 1, but what I really want are seasons 3-5, and subsequently 6 & possibly 7 to arrive much sooner.

Hopefully from season 4 onwards, the sets will have audio commentaries that have been included on the UK dvds for every episode by the directors and effects crews.

Can't wait till it comes! I have mine preordered at Amazon for 36 bucks, and am eagerly awaiting it's arrival.

That would be fantastic if they begin releasing the sets in smaller intervals.
