I've read that this artwork from Trevorrow's project will be included in the Art of Rise of Skywalker book in March.

The artwork looks interesting but the descriptions from the supposed script don’t sound as good as what we got IMO. Plus, I would have hated the title ”Duel of the Fates”. That’s a track from the soundtrack and would have felt silly IMO. Glad it wasn’t used.

It's nice to see that someone else understands.

I saw this again today and caught that C-3PO's last line in TROS ("Did you hear that?") is the same as his first line in ANH.

I'm impressed by the Sandcrawler being a forced perspective real model. It is not even a separate element composited, it is shot in camera. That's the way to do it.

I'd bet that that's the Sandcrawler from the LFL archives that was used for the original movie and reused for the better shot in the Special Edition.

To me, the most impressive effects in the movie is Rey and Kylo Ren's fight on the Death Star wreckage. That's an amazing blend of real stuff and digital effects.

What Sandcrawler they used in The Mandalorian? The same old model? They have only one? :)

Having been incredibly quiet of late, I realized that I had not shared my thoughts on The Rise of Skywalker. Considering how much I've enjoyed fighting about Star Wars on HTF over the years, I figured I'd acknowledge the film.

My mother taught me if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. So I should keep quiet. I won't, but I will be brief at least.

I thought Adam Driver was good. I liked C3P0 for the first time in a while. Babu Frik made me smile. And overall, I'd rank the film right around Attack of the Clones. Maybe a little under.

I hold a dim view of AOTC, sadly.

I didn’t hate it. But I certainly didn’t like it. I don’t want to rain on anybody who did like it.

At least I thoroughly enjoyed 1-2-3 and 7-8 of The Mandalorian, so my SW needs are doing alright.

Just me but the more I've seen it, the more I've liked it. The last hour is really enjoyable, the climax is just fantastic and the 'epilogue' is perfect. That being said, I know not everyone has that reaction.

If you prefer your movies as shown in the theatre, Amazon.uk is offering the pre-order of the blu ray 3D version. Of course unfortunately you do not get a digital version.
