It will be on 3D BD from the UK. No way Disney is going to stop now, especially when this is one of the best selling movies for them.

Understandable considering how the characters and story were the biggest complaints for The Last Jedi. I prefer to know ahead of time.

Any thoughts on seeing Rey And Ren apparently destroying a creature or thing seemingly together?

Consensus seems to be that that was Kylo Ren's Vader shrine & helmet.

One of the most intriguing moments in the trailer from a story POV.

RE that C3PO scene. I know zero about the plot but that scene seemed to me like 3PO was sacrificing himself in some way. That’s the vibe I got with him hooked up in some way.

“Solo” sets a precedent that a droid’s knowledge can be transferred to a ship’s computer to help it navigate to victory. Wonder if it’s that type of scenario.

In the previous trailer we see C3PO with red eyes. I imagine the scene in the new trailer is right before that.

In the comics there is a protocal droid, named 0-0-0 that is an assassin and it has red eyes. We're probably looking at some kind of re-programming with C-3PO.

That shot reminded me of the end of Glory when Cary Elwes and the remaining troops and trying to get to the interior of Fort Wagner.

Advance ticket listings for The Rise of Skywalker at Cinemark.com have disappeared.

Even though I already bought my ticket through them on Monday, there are no showtimes listed for Star Wars at any Cinemark theater now.

Oddly, showtimes are still showing up on Fandango for Cinemark theaters, but not through the Cinemark website.

Edit: Half an hour later, and the showtimes have now been added back at Cinemark.com.

I figured this design was pulled from some previous work but I didn't know it was from the late/great Ralph McQuarrie. It reminded me of the helmet of Legends character Darth Krayt from the Dark Horse Comic series Star Wars Legacy.

I'm not sure if they fighting together, as some on the internet had guessed.
I think they fighting each other and the shrine just stood in the way.

It is probably going to be terrible but I will see it anyway. I went to the other ones, so I might as well see how this mess of a trilogy ends.

If you didn't like the previous two movies, I seriously doubt you're going to like this one.:)

As I was waiting on "The Wizard of Oz" to start at the Dolby Cinema theater I'm going to see The Rise of Skywalker, I decided to check the number of seats sold and to my surprise there are still many empty seats for their matinee showings the first couple of days.

I just wonder how much damage was done by TLJ. I loved it, but man the people that hate really hated it, and pretty much swore off SW at that point. I'm sure it will make well over a $billion$ regardless of that, but this isn't going to be and "Endgame" scenario where that did way better than "Infinity War".

Count me among those that gave up on this SW trilogy. I wasn’t too warm on The Force Awakens and absolutely hated The Last Jedi and turned it off about halfway through the film. I’m sure I’ll eventually see The Rise of Skywalker but it will either be a Redbox rental or I’ll see it on Disney+.

    I guess I'm a sucker for punishment. :)
I saw the other two. Wouldn't make sense to miss seeing how it ends, even if I end up disliking it. As far as the first one, I have to say that Abrams probably played it a bit too safe while Rian Johnson took a dump all over the series in #2 (how appropriate ;)). Maybe this third one will be the Golidlocks of the trilogy.

I must be easy to please. I thought the first two movies were excellent and can’t wait for this 3rd one.

Nothing wrong with that. I don't think I'm particularly hard to please. I just think that, in the case of this trilogy, the first one was too much of a rehash and the second one was complete garbage. Maybe I'll find this third one better. Some of the trailers for it make it look better than the first two already. Just so as long as there are no Ewoks in it or Rhino from BOLT.
