Hi!
My Region 4 Star Wars DVD is faulty. Or is it?
I play it on a Philips 820, when chapter 3 starts it skips the audio a little bit. Then it plays ok, but the DVD displays Title 1 Chapter 3 all along up to chapter 24. At the very beginning of chapter 24 (Layer change?) it skips again, and go back to chapter 3!
It only happens with this dics, of my entire collection.
Now, I live in New Zealand, and bought this disc in Australia, Sydney Intl Airport - of course I saw the disc and thought "Have to have it!". I want to change it, but can't find any contact with Fox in New Zealand or Australia - their website is all about releases and no contact info at all!
Any help?

It sounds like you have a defective disc. Fox titles are distributed by Roadshow Entertainment in New Zealand (www.roadshow.co.nz), so you could try contacting them about getting a replacement disc.
If you can, try and borrow another copy from a video store or friend to make sure it isn't a player compatibility problem.

Another thing you can do is check your disk for scratches. Scratching has been a major problem on many Star Wars disks in Australia. Fox knows of this problem and have told all retailers to replace problem disks on sight.

Ok, I'll try contacting Roadshow in NZ, to talk about the disc, and check for replacement!

I thought that FOX DVDs distribution were handle by the FOX AUST. homevideo division?

FOX Australia sublicences its product to Roadshow for distribution in New Zealand.
