$499.99 for ALL 7 seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation. That's $71 per season.

It is my understanding that a deal will also be offered on all 3 seasons of TOS once season 3 has been released.

Rumor has it that the TOS 3-season deal will be available for a little over $200. Time will tell.

Costco is currenty distributing DVD coupons in their stores. One of the coupons effective Dec 14-19 is for $50 off Star Trek The Original Series Complete Collection. The coupon pictures a package with all three TOS sets (yellow, blue, red) in a half-height wrapper with TOS graphics on it.

The big question is how much the 3-season set will be before the coupon. The item is not yet listed on Costco's web site. They currently sell the individual TOS sets for $85. So, even at that price x 3 minus the coupon TOS Complete Collection would be $205. I suspect that the price will be somewhat lower, however, probably bringing the total (after coupon) to somewhere in the neighborhood of $180 (my guess).

A price like that will be hard to resist!

OK, as mentioned in the roundup thread, Costco's price on the TOS Complete Collection is $240. Minus the $50 coupon brings it to $190:

Neither of the Costco links seem to be working anymore. I was able to get ST: TOS, but I wanted to go back and try for NG for $500 but it seems to be gone.

Can anyone else find either of these boxed sets at Costco now? If not, do they normally get them back after a while or are they gone for good?

Amazon has it for $485 ish. Is there a cheaper option out there??
