    Wow! I hope they stick to that schedule and put them out that quickly! 4 seasons a year would rock!

    That would be an awesome release schedule, as I'll mainly be buying the first two seasons to have them all. I'm most looking forward to the third and fourth seasons, which contain my favorite episodes.
    I hope they go that fast!

    I hope that this "Unique Packaging" can:
    A) Sit easily on my shelf next to all my other DVD's, unlike the recent revist to Total Recall, and
    B) Has an easy method of replacing the "unique" package when and if it gets damaged.

    It will be interesting to see if the R2 seasons 1+2 have been reconverted using DEFT from NTSC to PAL.
    All "new Trek" from season 3 of TNG onwards has been done this way and looks great, but seasons 1+2 have always looked awful.
    Hence when Evolution came out on tape in the UK (round about late 1991 IIRC) the quality of the show had improved in more ways than one.
    Personally I suspect I'll keep to the R1 releases.
