It's ok having elaborate boxes but I'm dreading finding out how much it will cost to ship this to the UK

Just how big are each of those cases anyway?
From the picture it could be any size from something just larger than an X-Files box to a small suitcase.

I believe the larger picture on the left is just a larger view of the smaller ones on the right. If it is for real I would think it was done to show detail of the box then what an entire set would look like together.

My impression of the picture is that the single (larger image) box will be the container for one full season and that the 7 boxes in a row represent the 7 different seasons.

In other words, it's my guess that a single season box won't be much larger than, say, a Sopranos season boxed set.

They are supposed to be releasing these in the UK at the same time, so I wouldn't worry about shipping them from abroad

I'm fairly certain that an online Paramount rep claimed that the packaging in the picture is the proposed packaging for Voyager.

The following picture is the Starfleet Insignia in use from at least 2347 until 2371. It was first introduced in TNG and used in the first 2 seasons of DS9.

In 2371, Starfleet changed to the current design pictured below. It was in use starting in Generations and carrying over to DS9 at the beginning of season three ("The Search, Part I" was the first ep, I think) and in all of Voyager.

Those are really killer box designs, especially if for one season per box. I like them. Can't cost any more to ship than my Soprano's I'd bet. Who knows, who cares. DVD Empire shipping rates for Priority Mail are super reasonable and they never overcharge.

So I'm not worried. I shall own them all, sigh. Of course my all time favorite one is much later in the seasons, but I'll be patiently waiting for it (The Inner Light)

If the rumored release schedule is accurate, you won't wait long. They're supposed to be coming out every other month.
