Has there been any mention of an upgrade on the Audio and/or Video from the previous edition? Just curious....

This would also be my reason for purchasing the new version, although when you think about it that seems reason enough... I'm in, too.

For people wondering where the Shatner/Nimoy commentaries are, since the original comment was that they will be doing commentaries on future editions, I think it's safe to say that the movies they directed will feature them.

That was my understanding as well ...

Look for the Shatner/Nimoy commentaries on Search for Spock, The Voyage Home, and The Final Frontier.

At the time it was reported that Shatner/Nimoy commentaries would be forthcoming, it was specifically stated that they were signed to provide three.

BTW, I can't wait for this new DE!!!
