And boy has it changed.

New format this year:
Gone is the comedy, but the whole show is revamped.

In each category (Junior Singer, Dance, Adult Singer) there are three previous winners in the "Winners Circle".

Each week two competitors vie for the judge's stars (gone is the internet vote). The winner gets to challenge one of the "Winners Circle" contestants in their category for their spot. The challenged person/group then must equal or beat the new person/group's stars.

In March, whoever is left standing in the "Winner's Circle" competes for the grand prize.

So far I love the new direction.

I don't know why, but I just don't get the dance category.
